MISSION STATEMENT
The First Base Foundation is a non-profit organization supporting youth athletes in the San Francisco Bay Area. First Base believes that participation in sports is an essential tool in the development of young men and women in today's society. This is why the First Base Foundation promotes various sports related activities through its Bay Area Warriors athletic teams, in which children of all ages and skill levels are encouraged to play and be a part of a team.
The mission of the First Base Foundation is to educate and help youth not only to develop athletic skills but also to gain a level of confidence and self-esteem that they can use on and off the playing field. It is the First Base Foundation's goal to reach as many young men and women in the community as possible, regardless of athletic ability, ethnic background, or economic status.
